For all of you reserching the Andrew McHaney (b.~1760; d.1827) line, it has recently been established that (1) Andrew's correct surname was "McMahan;" and (2) that Andrew is the brother of Constantine McMahan!

Searches for ancestors should therefore shift to the McMahan line.
