I have been going over some of my documents and my census books. It appears that William McGuire that married Mary Bruster/Brewster, was the son of Josiah McGuire, that died in 1838. The 1830 census has just one child at home in Josiah McGuires household. One daughter born between 1800-1810. In the 1840 census after Josiah had died, she (Rachel) is in household of William and Mary(Bruster) McGuire's household. One of the ones that appraised the estate of Josiah McGuire was James Bruster, Mary's brother. Later in years Mary died ,and William married a Rebecca. Rachel McGuire never married. She always lived with her brother William and family.
