DENNIS JOHN MCGUIRE
Dennis John McGuire, 64, of Macon, MO, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at his home in Macon. Dennis was born on June 24, 1947 in Chicago; the son of Andrew James McGuire and Margaret (McCarthy) McGuire. He worked for the Railroad and later as a Union Ironworker in Chicago for 25 years. Dennis also operated a restaurant in Chicago. He enjoyed fishing and his family. Dennis is survived by his two sons, Andrew James McGuire and wife Christi, of La Grange Park, IL, and Dennis John McGuire Jr. (Johnny), of Chicago; one daughter, Lisa Marie McGuire, of Poplar Bluff, MO; seven grandchildren, Carter, Aidan, Ava, Alexis, Melyssa, Michael and Sarah; one sister, Patricia Aseves and husband "Lupe", of Justice, IL; and his children's mother, Barbara Cook (McGuire). He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, LCpl. Andrew James McGuire. Memorial Services were held in Macon on Oct. 16, 2011, where he spent the last 15 years of his life.
