I just found your posting on Ancestry about the McGuire family. My gr gr grandmother was Cornelia Jane McGuire of Limestone Co. AL. She was the daughter of William Benjamin McGuire, who is a possible son of Robert McGuire. I have the records on Robert and his wife in Limestone Co. but have nothing except him being the only McGuire in the records as a possible father of William. I also have all of the information on William and his family from Limestone. W. B. McGuire's widow filed a claim in the Southern Claims Commission and was approved. There is wonderful information contained in the claim. It sounds as if you have done a lot of reasearch. I would appreciate any information that you can share. Thank you
