Sharon,
If you go on the Us Genweb project and go to Wythe County under early marriage records,you will find it.My line is Mary Lockhart and William McGuire. I have no proof but am convinced that Mary Lockhart was William McGuire's wife. The McGuires and Lockharts came to Russell/Tazewell county at the same time, from Greenbriar County. It was when the indian attacks had many families on the move to find safer places to rear their families.
