Hi,

I am trying to trace my grandmother's family her name was Margaret McGuinness born somewhere in the North of Ireland around 1869 taken down to live near Glenmore about 8 miles from Waterford City when she was a young girl and met my grandfather Patrick Walsh married and raised a family in Cappagh, Glenmore a small village between New Ross and Waterford. They had a large family and my father was their youngest son William (Bill) My father's eldest brother was called Jim he also had a brother Jack, and sisters Annie, Gretta (margaret) Molly, Kit, Sarah, Eily, will check her birthdate again as it is written down somewhere in my mother's house. She may have been from somewhere in the falls road, though I don't even know why I think that and her father may have been some kind of policeman though I don't know where that came from either they are a catholic family. which may or may not be some help in locating where they may have lived in the North.

Many thanks
Marion Coady
