Looking for descendants of James McGinnis/McGinness and his wife Nancy (Latimer?) who lived in Crawford Co., Ohio from 1820 to 1860. He probably was born about 1800, in New Jersey. She was born 1801 in Pa. Their children were Mary, John, William, Margaret, Elizabeth, Margery, and possibly George. Census for 1870 shows parents gone. Census for 1880 shows William age 46, Elizabeth age 49, and Margery age 38 all unmarried and living in the family home. Possible spouse for John is Jane Starr, m. 1870, in Richland Co. George may have lived in Hardin Co. I'm unsure of any of this except for what is in the census, and I'm fishing for leads or any kind of help.
