I seem to be stuck in the early 1800's in several family lines and George McGinnis is one of them. Any help is appreciated!!

George McGinnis b 1802 d 1868 WV m 1825 Katherine VanHorn

Margaret b 5/20/1826 OH m Joseph Howard Waters

George, Jr. b 12/25/1830

Joseph and one other brother changed the spelling of their last name to McGuinness. The two that changed their names moved to Rhode Island.
