My great aunt, Minnie Tyrer, married a Richard McGinness around the early 1890s. Richard was from Ireland and was a Colour Sgt in the Infantry. He was born 1863-5. They lived in Kingston in Surreyand had two daughters, Eileen and Edith, born 1893/4 and 1895/6.
Does anyone have any information on them? I believe, but don't know for sure, that they stayed in the London area.
