Angela:
The Mary McGuinn you found in the 1881 English Census might be my grandmother. She was Mary Bridget McGuinn, born about 1870, daughter of Charles McGuinn and Bridget Henry (or Henery). She came to Boston in 1888, married my grandfather Thomas Hickey in 1892 in Worcester, Ma., had 7 children: Charles,Mary,Irene, Rose,Thomas (my father), Agnes, and Frank. My grandmother passed away in 1953 and is buried in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester, Ma.

The family always talked about their cousins, the McGuinn brothers (Wlater and Albert)who were Jesuit priests at Boston College. These were the sons of James - I found them in a 1900 Us census, living in Boston.

Would love to hear from you.
Brian Hickey
