Hello Moira,
I don't have their marriage certificates.I got the place of marriage from birth certificates following a visit to the Register of Births, Marriages etc..office.
Philip was married at Drumlane...Owens was impossible to read but it was not Drumlane.
Sponsors do relate to Baptisms.Years ago I had written to the Parish Priest of StPatrick's Anderston asking if could see their Baptismal Register and he was kind enough to allow it.([email protected])
Owen was only in his late thirties when he died.
Philip was still in Glasgow in 1891.Never found out why he returned to Ireland. He died in hospital after fracturing his skull.Everything else I've got is in old notebooks which I never got round to sorting.I do have Owen's death certificate somewhere.
Regards,
Chuck
