Hi, Bette, I'm glad to see your post. Very interesting. My Word program is down right now and I can't open any of my genealogy files. But.....I can do the following: 1. I can email you a file on the McGuffins and you can take a look. I don't think that your Sarah would be the widow of James Andrew McGuffin, but who knows? The file would be something you could take a look at and see. It's really large, but has interesting info. 2. You can pull up my name and look at the posts I have on the McGuffin message board. (I wish my Word was working and I could just copy and paste all my info for you, but my posts on the board pretty well tell the story of my "quest." 3. I have asked another McGuffin researcher to contact you. She is really sweet and most helpful. I am highly interested in the fact that your Sarah moved to Canada. This MAY be a connection for me. There were, however, other McGs in Canada. Do you know where James died in the US before Sarah moved to Canada? Try emailing Gordon McGuffin. He's on the message board. He lives in Canada and is a great guy. Has lots of McG info and will share. Notify Administrator about this message?
