Jane McGuffin was my g-g-grandmother. She was married to a man named Joseph Neal. They lived in Sabine Parish, LA. After he died she married David Recknor then moved to Leon County, Texas. I know that after John's wife Elizabeth died he married Sarah Montgomery and lived in Montgomery and Grimes Counties Texas. Jane is buried beside David Recknor in Keechi Cemetery in Leon County, Texas. Who is Amanda Lightfoot? She is mentioned in Joseph's Neal's personal papers. She mentions cousin John McGuffin and Thomas J. being in school (Lightfoot or McGuffin) as if he is a child and maybe her child. Please can anyone help me with this family? I am trying to put this together for my grandchildren. I do not know how all these people are related to each other. Father? Mother? Daughter? Son? Brother? Sister? Does anyone have a photo of any family member? Thank you. Sue
