Since I have very little information about Margaret McGuffin and William Patton, you may know more than this, but I will share what I have:
W.B. Patton & Maggie McGuffin md. Feb.24, 1888(from Greene County Marriage Records)
Catherine McGuffin told me that Margaret had stepchildren:
George Rudder (md. Nola Hull
Roy Patton (md. Cora Wampler)
Grace Patton (md. someone with the last name of Pack, and she thought they had gone to Missouri)
One of Margeret's brothers, Louis Dolman McGuffin is my husband's gr.grandfather, and I do have some information on the family (including more than a few loose ends.)I would be happy to share what I have. We live here in Greene County TN, and I would be willing to look for any local information if you are not living in the area.
I have had no luck in finding any record of Jonathan Mcguffin's death and burial...How did you find out when he died, and that he is buried on Butler Farm in Mosheim as is his wife, Ellen?I just wonder if it would be a good source for other information?
Thank you!Pat
