MacEagh/McEagh surname-fact or fiction?

Hello:

Does anyone know of any actual Scottish records that mention the name McEagh or MacEagh (or something close to it)? It's certainly a popular name in the fiction of Sir Walter Scott (i.e. Children of the Mist, etc.). But I'm wondering if it's solely a fictional name or if there really was such a surname/clan. It seems that the line between fact and fiction is very blurred when it comes to this name, but if there's some actual documentation that names them, or a reasonably close spelling, it certainly would be of interest.

Thanks!
Chris
