Looking for the parents and siblings of John McGregor b. ~1827 Scotland; d. 12 Oct 1912 Dingmans Ferry, Pike County, Pennsylvania. He immigrated to New York City area in 1852 according to the 1900 and 1910 Federal Census. John married prior to 1853 to Jane Taylor b. Apr 1834 Ireland. They resided in Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Utrecht area until 1898 when John moved to eastern Pennsylvania to be with his son and family. John’s profession was that of a tailor and he had a shop in Brooklyn, NY in 1870 until retiring. Jane died on 31 Dec 1884 in New Utrecht, New York.
Their children were:

2. Mary Ann Amelia b. 14 Aug 1855 New York; m. James Anderson; d. 18 July 1881 New Utrecht, New York.

4. John Samuel b. 23 Jun 1859 Manhattan, New York; m. Anna Elizabeth Mosley (b. 04 Oct 1862 Knoxville, Tennessee, d. 21 Feb 1956 Pennsylvania) 17 Oct 1881 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; d. 15 Jun 1932 Dingmans Ferry, Pike County, Pennsylvania
