Hi Glenda,
Thank you so much. About all I know about her is that she is my Grandmother. I did not know that my Dad, Ben Monnin, was adopted until I was an adult. I had my attorney draw up the papers and a judge sign them to unseal the adoption records. They show that Benjamin was adopted on January 15, 1910, and he was one year of age. Actually he would have been about 14 months old.
Missouri's McGraw husband is William B. McCraw. I don't know about the Ellis yet.
Frank Monnin, his wife Mattie (Martha) and his son Joe are buried next to each other here at Butter's Cemetary. I have never seen any record of a daughter. Please let me know about her.
I do not know what race Missouri would be; we are white though I suppose she could have been another race. Black?
Please send me everything you know about her. I do know she had two other children- daughters - and I have some sketchy info on them.
Where do you fit in???
I am so anxious to hear from you. My email address is three3marys@yahoo.com.
Thanks
Mary
