MGOWN/MAGAON

Anyone knowing anything about JEAN-BAPTIST WALTER MACGON and MARGUERITE LEBLANC ? Their son PIERRE MAGAON married LEA TELLIER dit LAFORTUNE in L'Assomption, Quebec on 29 October 1839. Jean-Baptist Walter was deceased at time of son's mariage and was father also to Charles, Guillaume and Alexis. Could this be the same George Walter McGown who was made prisonner by the english in 1755 at Fort Duquesne by a detachment commanded by Jumanville?
