I am just beginning to search for my mother's genealogy on her father's family. I am looking for information on family of a John & Dora (Jones) McGlothlin (my great-grandparents) from around the Stephenville/Dublin, Texas area from the late 1800's-early 1900's (into the 1920-30s).
My grandfather was William Henry McGlothlin who married Nadine Fern Wright(daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wright, once a mayor of Hico, TX.) William H McGlothlin was a policeman in Hico, TX at one time, worked at Convair in Fort Worth, TX in the 1940s and worked at the Texaco at the intersection of Hwy 6 and Hwy 281 in Hico, TX in the 1940s-50s.
