I'm just guessing on this, but my aun't name was Mcglothin Green born 1870's in TN. Her mother's family were from va. Her father's family from Ga. Her grandfather John C. Green of Va. born abt 1804 and married a Ann Eliza Jordan in Va. in 1827. He was probably son of Wm Green and Mary Ann Crockett of Va. Her father's side was from Frederick Green born Ga. They all moved to TN in 1800's. I'm writing because I think she was probably named after one of the Green's or Crocketts or maybe even a Jamison. Anyone ever hear of any of these names?
