Samuel McGlone, Wilkes Barre PA 1923
Posted by: Eileen Kortright (ID *****6949) Date: July 19, 2004 at 13:36:43

I've been trying to track down my Grand Uncle, Samuel McGlone, who emigrated from Glasgow to Wilkes Barre, PA aboard the S.S. Assyria in 1923. The ship manifest stated that he was joining his Uncle Matthew Nimmo in Wilkes Barre.

After this point, he disappears from the US paper trail. He could have gone back to Glasgow or gone across the border into Canada.

If anyone has any information, please post.
