Sorry, Gerald! Hiram and John Thornton McGlaughlin were born in Fayette Co., Pa in the 1820's and came to Butler County, Ohio around 1830. Their father James was born in Berkeley County, Va in 1795. James went to Fayette Co, PA and married there in 1820 and had his family there before migrating to Ohio and then Iowa.
