McGlamery Cemetery in Wayne Co., TN is named after John McGlamery, who opened a trading post on the Natchez Trace called McGlamery Stand. He is the oldest person buried there by the McGlamery Baptist Church which stands next door to the Cemetery. I believe John may be my gggg grandfather. The book called History of Wayne Co., TN 1817-1995 has a 2-page write up. Are you descended from McGlamerys? What is your connection?
