John McGlade from Deleware md Ann Eveland from Louden Va. Children Jim, John, David, Geo, Bill, Jane, Nancey and Betsy (and?) Elizabeth B. 1805 d 1890. John From Deleware was a millwright by trade. One of the first elders of the Covenanter Church. Resided near Frazeyberg until 1836 ? moved to farm in Cass twp. I show that (Frazeyberg) was where Elizabeth and McCann lived. The names and stories are so intertwined it is hard to get into order. Will of John McGlade 7 Aug 1852 Muskingum Co. Wills 1843-1854 pg. 494-495 wife Anny of Musk.twp. Five children. Nancy B., Elizabeth McCann, Geo, Thos, Jane McGlade the youngest. Jane is Executer w/her son. (Why is her name McGlade?
My Elizabeth was born 1824 and I believe that John and Anna were her grandparents. Family history does contain their names. I do not know for sure but believe her mother was named Leah. Father possible James or David or Wm. My Elizabeth and Joseph Erwin named their children Wm.T(thomas)*, David M,
Joseph, Henry Marion, George Brittain McClellon, Jane, Howard E and twin Herman D. Wm. T. Was my Dad's Grandfather. When I was very small I knew Uncle Howe and Aunt May (lived next door)and recall Uncle Herm visiting. They both lived to be VERY OLD. Yes I wish I could have asked them some of these questions. My Aunt left a small trunk with info she was gathering on our geneology, but have been unable to get to see it yet. I worked full-time for some years and kind of shelved this stuff. I hate to do over a lot of stuff I am sure she had already spent time on. I have a bunch of history data from Muskingum Co.History in Ohio re: McCanns and McGlades but nothing to enlighten me. Mostly on yours. LH
