Kevin - my great-great Grandfather was William McGivern (Megiveron) - no middle name know, however my great Grandfather was Hugh Megiveron, born in Locke Township, MI in 1849. My records show William McGivern was born in Ireland, but no additional information is known. Could it be the same? Do you have any information on who William was married to? My records show he was married to Margret Ann (Peggy) Dunckle or Dunckel, who was from Minden, NY. Did he come to the U.S.?

Any information would be helpful, as our family line appears to dead end with William.
