I am a descendant of William McGiveron and Loretta Eggleston. My grandmother's mother was Lillian McGiveron Babbitt, whom I had believed to be their daughter, but as she is not mentioned among their children on this site, now I wonder whether there was an intervening generation or whether she did not go by her given name? I know that you have much information about the line of William's brother, Hugh, do you by chance have any about the other lines of William and Loretta? Many thanks for any help! (I was told as a child that Lillian had siblings named William, Hugh, and Eva, but by a relative whose memory was hazy.) We were also told by our grandmother that Loretta (?) used to bounce on the knee of Chief Okemos, who called her his "white papoose."
