Do you have a Mary Elizabeth McGinnis that married a Joshua McCarl in you tree? Her and Joshua married prior to 1852 as their first child was born, James Monroe (Roe) McCarl was born 1 May 1852. She may have died when their 5th child, George Washington McCarl was born but we are not sure. The hand-me down family stories said that she died at George's birth but there is so much more info that points to the fact that maybe she didn't. I don't know any more info on her except that.
