Dan, Most of what I have is posted on Genforum. Just hoping that someone will see it and connect. Les Tate posted the census in Barbour where my RC and Martha were in the household of Chany McBilberry. I would have never found them. My g-gm was born in La 1859. So, sometime between 1856 when Janet died and 1859, I assume, he sold the property. If it was the same property that was listed to James McG in Oaston, there should be a property transfer in the courthouse. Patty posted that there was a James and a John that attained property. She was transposing from a book. It says..........Mrs. Janet McG. It also mentions a brother Alexander. Which McG was her husband?? Also, we have not found Janet Chishom, the sister. Also, what would be the connection of Martin McG? It seems that he would more likely be a son than a nephew.

I have a son in Joplin......coaching football at MSSU..... Go Lions!
