I am a volunteer with the Wahoo Family Network and seeking family for Thomas Judson McGILL, Jr. The USS Wahoo was a WWII Sub that went missing Oct 1943 in northern Japan. The sub has been discovered and we wish to share the news with the families of the lost crewmen.
Family is found in 1920 census in Raeford, Hoke Co., NC. 1930, in Saint Pauls, Robeson Co., NC. They are also found in counties: Person, Cumberland. I believe some of the family is still in Robeson Co.
Thomas Judson McGILL (1893-1962) married Dora JOHNSON (1890-1970) Children: Thomas Judson, Jr., (1919-1943); Sarah, Merion, Landon and Walder. Landon Graham McGILL (1924-1993)married Barbara (GIDDENS)
