Stephen,
I still have not found any evidence of siblings, but I have found out that she was married on October 24, 1866 at St Patrick's parish in Brooklyn.Brooklyn was divided into wards at that time and this would have been ward 21. The church both then and now is located at 285 Willoughby St Brooklyn which is on the corner of Willoughby and Kent. If you know Brooklyn, that area is called Bedford-Styvesant. The Parish back in the 1850's-60's was small in area. only a few blocks and most parishoners were Irish immigrants. So although I don't have her exact address at this time (prior to her marriage)I know she lived with-in blocks of this parish. Unfortunately their is no State marriage certificate only a church record. Also their witnesses at the wedding were Edward and Margaret Halpin if that rings any bells for you.
Do you have any further info on your great grandfather James? Addresses? Parents?
Also, there is some question as to whether her father's name was James or John (as was previously posted)
