The manifest has a column for passengers: "The name and complete address of nearest relative or friend in country whence alien came", which shows that Bridget's father and the children's grandfather John McGhee is living in Ashley Grange (a place) near Bothwell, Scotland. It also shows Bridget and the children's last permanent address was Bellshill, Scotland. I found on my Scotland map that Bellshill is just east of Bothwell, both of which are just south of Glasgow. It shows Bridget and the children's final destination as Boston, Mass.
Perhaps the census records you found are not the same family.
