According to the obit of T.J. McGhee, Sr., who died in 1909, he left a brother, D.A. McGhee, and a sister, Mrs. Alcy Curry. I've been reading old OK newspapers and have found several references to a David/Dave McGhee (see below), usually from Ottawa Co.,and am wondering if they are about the D.A. who was a brother of Thomas J. He was a pleasant caller at this office and informed us that he was sure going to Macon, Ga., in May to attend the Confederate Veterans Reunion. Mr. McGhee was a member of Co. A, 2nd Cherokee Regiment of Indian Territory, under Col. W.P.
