I do not have my notes available at the moment, but from what I understand Barclay McGhee had several children including sons John and Alexander. Alexander's estate settlement names a son "John Jr.", I assume to keep him separated from his uncle John McGhee. I think that I descend from this John Jr., but I cannot find him after the 1860 census. There was also a son of Alexander named Barclay for his grandfather, who lived in Georgia. Apparently this family used the same names over and over, sometimes several times having cousins with the same names.
I would like to know what happened to John McGhee, Jr., son of Alexander McGhee.
