hello, your posting states that Hugh McGough, the son of Francis McGough who died in 1953 died in 1984.
This is slightly wrong, since I am the son of Frank McGough who died in 1953 at the age of 46. I assure you that I am very much alive (58 years old). We lived at 223 E. Gravers Lane in Chestnut Hill.
The Hugh McGough who died in 1984 at the age of 76 was my uncle, and my father, Frank's brother. He lived at 8018 Cheltenham Avenue in Wynmoor. Frank also had a sister named Mae (I guess Margaret) who's married name was Dooley (William). They lived in Drexel Hill, PA. My Uncle Hugh also had a son named Hugh (my cousin), and I also have a brother named Frank, who was born in 1942 and is still living.
I stumbled onto your posting while doing a Google search. I have often thought about tracing my roots, but never got around to it. I would be glad to help in any way I can. I would also be interested to know any new relatives, and wheere you come on the family tree.
