Dallas Morning News Dallas, Texas May 27, 1952 2 Die, 7 Hurt as Cars Crash Corsicana, Texas, May 26: Two persons were killed and seven others injured Monday as the result of a head-on collision of two automobiles two miles east of Kerens about 5 a.m. Dead are Mrs. WINNIE M. MCGEHEE, 26, of Marietta, Oklahoma, and ROY HIGHTOWER, about 30. Those hospitalized are Mrs. EDNA LEMONS WESTER, 35, and daughter TYKIE 16, both of Athens and in critical condition; C. H. LEMONS, 35, of Marietta, Oklahoma; RUDOLPH MCGEHEE, 28 of Marietta; BONNIE MCDONALD and his two children, ZELMA and JO WILLIE, all of Roane. Highway patrolmen said that McDonald was driving one care traveling east to Athens to attend the funeral of his mother. Mrs. Webster was driving the car traveling west, en route to San Marcos and San Antonio. Mrs. McGehee’s body was returned to Marietta. Notify Administrator about this message?
