Obituary Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Little Rock, Arkansas Nov 04, 2007 SOLGOHACHIA - William O’Donley “Bill” McGehee, 57, of Solgohachia, Ark., passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at home with his family. Born Aug. 11, 1950, in Pine Bluff, Ark., he was the son of Tom and Donna McGehee. Retired military and a military historian, he served with L Company 75th Rangers, Echo Recon 2nd of the 501st, 101st Airborne in Vietnam, receiving the Combat Infantry Badge, three Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars for Valor, one Silver Star for Valor, and a Presidential Citation. Bill was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Leslie Sherman McGehee, and his two daughters, Erin Kathleen Mc-Gehee and Hannah Katherine McGehee, all of Solgohachia. Graveside services will be held 9 a.m. Nov. 14, 2007, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the USO of Missouri, Inc., P.O. Box 10367, St. Louis, Mo. 63145, or the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, P.O. Box 1947, Quantico, Va. 22134. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Clifford Evans of Morrilton, Ark., and his staff for their incredible care and compassion during his illness.
