I am very interested in your McGeehan line. We have several similarities. My greatgrandfather was Patrick McGeehan who operated a hotel/tavern on First Street in Coaldale, Rahn Township in 1890. He was also married to a Boyle (Mary Ann.) They had three children: Dennis, Joseph, and Annie (my grandmother.) My mother mentioned that she at one time (1930s) met some McGeehans from Tamaqua who said they were cousins. Other connections are Campbells and Hollywoods in Coaldale. Do you know (townland , parish) where your line originated in Ireland? Please email me any other info you might have. You might be interested in a poem by Hugh Mcgeehan posted at message 4704
