My Greatgrand father's name was Davis McGarvin and was from Davisee County Mo. and he was born in 1840 birthplace unknown. He died 8-29-1914 at Hamilton, Mo. and is buried there. He Married Rachel Bashford 12-25-1870. That union had three children. Florence McGarvin (Whitley), Cora McGarvin (Strong) and Thomas McGarvin who was my Grandfather. My Grandfather was born in Davisee County 11-19-1871 and died 1-14-1953 and is buried at Worland, Wy.
I have been unable to find out much about any of my Great Grandfathers relatives or siblings.
My Great Grandfather and a Brother did go to California in covered wagons but return to Mo. The Brother stayed in Ca.
My Grandfather and Grandmother had nine Children and came to Wyoming in 1917 from Prior, Ok.
