Beverly--Absolutely.Wilson McGarity was a son of Abner. If you can get hold of a copy of Joseph Henry Hightower Moore's First Families of Henry Co., GA (Alpharetta, GA: W.H. Woolfe, 1995),there's a whole section on the Wilson McGarity Family by a woman named Freda R. Turner.
The only marriage I came across for Wilson was to Angeline McMullen, probably about 1830, but I did not look any further since I descend from Wilson's sister Sarah.

McGarity and Jerry McGarity [information from Campbell Co., GA Confederate Pension Roll 1890-1928 abstracted by Nancy Jones Cornell, 1980].
