John McG (Georgia) 11/20/1807, Who were parents of John

I am connected to the John McGarity line through Amelia McGarity Apr. 1, 1846. I have a handwritten note with many other names stating it is the McGarity Family Record. It starts with John (1807) and then his marriage to Mary Emory in 1833. I'm sure some of the dates are wrong since it looks like they were just trying to remember these dates. Who were the parents of John and what country & county are they from? Ireland?
