Ann McGarrity - convict from Tyrone, Ireland sent to Australia

I am looking for Ann McGarrity. She was born around 1825 and in 1844 she was found guilty of Arson in Tyrone, Ireland & was transported to Tasmania, Australia. She married James Watson (a british convict) in 1848 and died in 1878 at Carlton, Victoria Australia. She is my childrens' great (x3) grandmother.

I think her father's name was Joseph & her mother was possibly Margaret Hennessy. Given that she really didn't get a choice about going to Australia, I guess her family members could have ended up anywhere!

If anyone knows of Ann's family, I would be very pleased to here from them.

Thanks,

Carolyne Watson
