Hmmmmmm!ohio, I have not studied ohio much. My people went so. eventually but they keep popping up in the NE. in earlier times. I have not found a definite link over to Ireland yet but I do have bits and peices back to 1686 when a Patrick came to new jersey on a convict ship(he was a coventeer). The names you give are very instresting though as mary, patrick, willam, john, james peter run all through our family. did mary record her name as mcgarrity or mcgarity?
It appears that your gr grand maw was born 30 yrs after my gr grand parents(1865) so the generations are pretty much parallel.
I want to check some census and mr's. I'll get back to you.
regards
ray
