CORRECT IRISH FORM OF NAME.

I want to point out there is a variation in writting the name depending on gender.
Normally for a male the name would be Mac (meaning son of) but because our name begins with O the c of mac has been changed to the more fluid mag.
A female however has the prefix Nic. I don't understand why in this case the c is allowed. One of the quirks of the Irish language I guess.
