For the last 17 years I have been doing a one-name study of Snodgrasses. At present I am working on the descendants of William Snodgrass of Baltimore, MD.
His son, Hiram Snodgrass, was born 7 May 1816, in Baltimore, MD.
Hiram m/1 Eliza Magarity, b. 1821, MD; d. 21 or 22 Oct 1854, Hamilton Co., OH. She is buried in the Wesleyan Cem. there.
Hiram m/2 Elizabeth ___, b. ca. 1812, NJ.
Hiram m/3 16 May 1866, Pleasant Hill, Cass Co., MO, Mrs. Mary Magdalene (Dotson) South, b. 18 Aug 1844. Hiram & Mary Magdalene were divorced.
Hiram m/4 20 Oct 1887 in Bosque Co., TX, Mrs. Dorcas Gauch.
Hiram d. 3 Feb 1891 in Morgan, TX.

1) Altha Snodgrass, b. ca. 1842, Baltimore, MD.
2) Clinton Snodgrass, b. ca. 1843, Baltimore, MD.
3) Cornelius Snodgrass, b. ca. 1845, Baltimore, MD.
4) Laura Snodgrass, b. ca. 1848, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.
5) Otis Snodgrass, b. ca. 1849, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH. He is on the 1870 census in Ellsworth Co., KS.
Children of Mary Magdalene Dotson & Hiram Snodgrass:
6) Hiram Snodgrass, b. 3 Feb 1867, Paola, Miami Co., KS; res. 1910 Oklahoma Co., OK; d. Oklahoma.
7) Blanche Snodgrass, b. 8 Jul 1869, Paola, Miami Co., KS; d. 9 May 1917, Joplin, Jasper Co., MO; m. 17 Feb 1892, Monett, MO, Wicks Rhodes Titus, b. 16 Jul 1851, Cayuga Co., NY; d. 14 Jan 1938, Eureka, CA.
