Rose, I believe that there is a connection in our family lines. My Great-great Aunt Elizabeth DALEY b.1869 married a James McGarrity b. 1869. James was born in PA and is listed on the 1900 New Philedelphia, Schuylkill Co., PA census with wife Elizabeth, son William, daughter Catherine, and sister-in-law Ellen Daley. (Ellen and Elizabeth were twins.)While tracing the census back, I summized that James McGarrity was the son of Luke and Catherine McGarrity. Luke is listed as born (1840) in Ireland on the census. Luke and Catherine had at least 2 other children, Michael b.1866, and Mary b. 1867. I am especially interested in Elizabeth DALEY, as her brother PETER was my great-grandfather. I would love to share notes. Thank-you.
