Give me the birth information for Elizabeth (date and place) and I think I can tie you into the McGarrah lines. Almost all (if not ALL) McGarrah's in northwest Arkansas are decended from Thomas McGarrah and Rachel Graham. My genealogy data is located at www.familysearch.com I feel it is one of the most accurate and concise records of the decendents and ancesters of the northwest Arkansas McGarrah's you will find on the internet. Sadly reguardless of what anyone else has in their records there is NO proof of family ties in South Carolina or further back. The earliest proven record for the McGarrah line is in Arkansas in 1811, a land record, showing James Magar and his sons owning land on the White River. Family tradition goes back to Tenn. in 1804 claiming James McGarrah's twin sons were born in Cold Sream, Tenn. The older sons on census claimed to have been born in So. Carolina.
