Hi Lorrie, I have a link to Franklin William McGarity born 9-15-1811 and died 2-2-1864. He was my gggfather.
I have an old book with family names written in it. The first name is Franklin. Until now, I havent been able to get passed Franklin so this is an exciting breakthrough for me.
Interestingly, I have some evidence that Franklin was a doctor as well as many of his children. My ggfather was a doctor And I have all his medical books(scary reading)and some of his instruments.
I am very interested in sharing info.
