Hi Cary,
If you are related to the McGarrs who came from Ireland, I have some of that information that other McGarr's have been kind enough to share. George McGarr was born in County Tyrone, Ireland in 1813. His son, James Lee McGarr was born in 1858 in PA we think. (There are other sons.) James' son John Clifford McGarr lived in Oil City, PA. John Clifford is my husband's grandfather.
