John and Mary Clark emigrated from County Armagh in Northern Ireland,1833, with their two year old son
William, apparently to Canada, through the U.S. But there seems to be no knowledge of a passenger list of a ship, nor where they first settled.

Married:i Elizabeth McCaughey April 29, 1858 b: 1833. She was the daughter of James and Betty McCaughey of Coburgh Ontario April 29,1858, at the presbyterian church at Port Hope,Ontario. Canada. After their wedding they lived in Rochester N.Y., at 48 Hudson Street, (1860 census and city directory) as a day Labourer

Both are buried in Willowbank Cemetary west of Gananoque.
