F M Powell was mentioned in Harlem's local news in 1905 and December 1906. But it appears he died around 1907
because wife Lizzie can be found with her second husband in the 1910 Richmond County Census. And the census
shows Lizzie had been marreid to Joseph T. Davenport for two years.

Mrs. Elizabeth ( Lizzie ) McGahee Davenport, age 90, died in Augusta on 12 Nov 1970. Her obituary said she was a native of Columbia county and the widow of the late J. T. Davenport. She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frankie Powell Bass of Augusta and one son, Leonard F. Powell Sr., of Decatur, Ga. Among the pallbearers were Thomas L. Powell and Leonard F. Powell III. She was buried in Augusta's Westover Memorial Park. She's listed as Lizzie Davenport in the Social Security Death Index and her date of birth was 30 Sep 1880.
Daughter Frankie Powell married Paul Revere Bass and he died on 3 June 1946 in Augusta.
